Constantine KSA stands at the forefront of fine art logistics and cultural consultancy in the Kingdom, combining over a century of heritage from its UK parent company with a deep commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s cultural transformation under Vision 2030.
Founded in 2018 as the Kingdom’s dedicated branch of Constantine Ltd, the company operates from bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, and Dammam, delivering an unparalleled range of services for the transportation, storage, conservation, and installation of art and heritage objects.
Constantine’s history stretches back to 1885, when the original family-run business in the UK was established with a focus on maritime logistics. Over the decades, it evolved into a global leader in fine art logistics, earning the trust of institutions worldwide. “One of our most significant recognitions came in the form of a Royal Warrant from the King, a testament to the trust placed in us by the Royal Household,” says Paul Williamson, Founder and CEO of Constantine KSA. The company has handled projects as complex as the decanting of more than 40,000 heritage objects from Buckingham Palace during renovations, underscoring its reputation for precision, discretion, and professionalism.
This heritage is matched by a forward-looking approach to sustainability. In the UK, Constantine have built a state-of-the-art fine art storage facility near London Heathrow Airport, powered by solar energy and a ground-source geothermal heat pumps; have introduced pioneered the use of Turtle Crates to the UK Market; and are certified by Planet Mark, targeting to reduce annual reduction in carbon emissions by 5% each year. Through actively monitoring and improving their carbon footprint, Constantine look to reduce the environmental impact of Fine Art logistics services offered to their prestigious clients globally.
Constantine KSA’s entry into Saudi Arabia was the result of both opportunity and vision. The company had been operating in the Gulf since 2008, initially in the UAE, but it was the Kingdom’s cultural awakening that prompted a permanent presence. In 2018, Constantine supported the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Beauty and Identity exhibition at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra). Recognizing the scale of Saudi Arabia’s ambitions, Constantine KSA was formally registered later that year.
Williamson personally relocated to the Kingdom in 2020 during the pandemic to take a hands-on approach to business development. “Since then, we have grown to operate across Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, and Dammam. We have built a fine art logistics platform that is fully integrated with the Kingdom’s evolving cultural ecosystem,” he says.
Constantine KSA’s core business goes far beyond transportation, offering an integrated suite of turnkey solutions for art handling, airport supervision, customs clearance, inventory management, installation and conservation of artworks and heritage objects. Raising the bar of fine art logistics in Kingdom, we are continually investing in a growing fleet of the first KSA-built climate-controlled fine art vehicles equipped with air-ride suspension, high-capacity tail lifts, and GPS tracking. The company provides museum-grade packing and case-making, producing bespoke crates to ISPM 15 standards for objects of any size or fragility, and leads the region in sustainable crating solutions through its exclusive provision of Turtle Crates in the Gulf—designed for a 20-year lifespan and aimed at reducing single-use materials.
In Riyadh and Jeddah, Constantine KSA operates climate-controlled storage facilities with 24-hour security, bespoke racking systems, and private vaulted rooms. Its collections management services cover decanting, inventorying, and barcoding through an in-house inventory management and logistics software.
Working alongside Airport Authorities, Constantine KSA have improved the handling of high value goods within KSA’s international airports and offer supervision of cargo to closely monitor the handling for imports and exports. Their customs facilitation expertise ensures smooth import and export of cultural and exhibition goods, including those requiring temporary customs status or special handling such as antiquities, conservation materials, and dangerous goods.
The company also provides conservation and restoration services, ranging from condition checking and reporting to the restoration of oversized objects in purpose-built facilities. Exhibition and public art installation capabilities include heavy-lift operations in both urban and challenging desert environments, as well as enabling works such as excavation, ground preparation, and baseplate fabrication. In addition, Constantine KSA offers fine art insurance solutions, providing comprehensive “nail-to-nail” coverage through Lloyd’s of London and local insurers.
This comprehensive service model allows Constantine KSA to manage every stage of an artwork’s journey, whether for a museum, public realm project, or private collection.
Complementing its logistics expertise, Constantine KSA operates Constant Art, an arts and cultural consultancy. Constant Art is led by experts based in Riyadh with over 30 years of international and regional experience in the planning, delivery, and management of high-profile cultural projects, underpinned by a global research and consulting practice specialising in culture and the creative economy. This dual-service approach ensures clients have a single point of contact from concept to execution.
Constant Art’s work spans cultural strategy development, public art commissioning, curatorial services, artist liaison, fabrication oversight, community engagement, and education programs. It also delivers placemaking strategies that integrate public art into urban development, aligning with Vision 2030’s emphasis on cultural vibrancy.
“Our area of expertise underscores our commitment to Saudi Arabia’s growing arts and cultural ecosystem,” says Williamson. “By identifying emerging trends and discovering talented artists, we curate unique strategies and experiences that inspire and engage audiences, fostering a sustainable future for the arts.”

Constantine KSA
Constantine KSA and Constant Art have delivered some of the Kingdom’s most high-profile cultural projects. Among these is Desert X AlUla 2024, where the team provided full arts management and logistics delivery for 15 monumental artworks, covering everything from concept design support and feasibility studies to artist liaison, fabrication, shipping, installation, and documentation. For Noor Riyadh 2022, they served as curatorial lead and artist liaison for the exhibition From Spark to Spirit, which featured works from 30 artists across 15 countries. Their work with NEOM’s The Line and Nature Reserve involved developing a comprehensive public art strategy, acquiring the first 30 artworks for the corporate collection, and establishing a corporate art library. They also developed the strategic framework, curatorial vision, and proposed artist long list for the Qiddiya City Public Art Initiative, one of the Kingdom’s largest entertainment and cultural destinations. Beyond these landmark projects, Constantine KSA has managed installations for the National Museum Riyadh, Diriyah Art Futures, and the Saudi Arabia Museum of Contemporary Art (SAMOCA), as well as public art projects in locations ranging from the King Abdulaziz Financial District to international airports.

Capacity building is central to Constantine KSA’s mission. The company works with partners such as Misk Art Institute to deliver logistics masterclasses, educational workshops, and mentoring programs for young Saudi professionals. Williamson notes, “Our Riyadh team is now predominantly local and includes a higher number of women than men, a fact we are particularly proud of.”
By training registrars, art handlers, and conservation specialists, Constantine KSA is helping to address gaps in the Kingdom’s cultural infrastructure and create sustainable career paths in the sector.
While the sector’s growth is rapid, challenges remain. Williamson points to bureaucratic complexities in customs processes and the tendency for fine art logistics to be engaged late in project planning. Constantine KSA is actively engaging with ministries to streamline procedures and advocating for early involvement to ensure quality and efficiency.
Beyond Saudi Arabia, Constantine maintains operations in Bahrain and strong relationships in Kuwait and the UAE, leveraging its global ARTIM network to facilitate seamless door-to-door transportation worldwide. Shipments have been managed across the globe, finding solutions to transport artworks internationally from almost every continent and domestically across the Kingdom’s vast and diverse landscapes.
By 2026, Constantine KSA plans to open a second purpose-built fine art warehouse meeting international museum standards, further invest in local talent, and deepen partnerships with Saudi cultural institutions. “We are not here to simply do business; we are here to build lasting value, grounded in trust, professionalism, and shared ambition,” Williamson emphasizes.
As Saudi Arabia’s cultural ambitions expand, Constantine KSA’s integrated model of fine art logistics and cultural consultancy positions it as a vital partner in the preservation, presentation, and promotion of the Kingdom’s heritage and contemporary art. With a blend of historic expertise and local commitment, the company is not only moving art—it is helping to shape the future of culture in the region.
